Hands hammering a nail into a wall — the kind of help the Hood needs

CooSkills

What you can do, someone next door needs

Everyone chooses what they offer in the Hood — and that is how they contribute. No pressure, no marketplace. Just neighbours who say: I can do that.

CooSkills in the CooHood app: neighbours with skills in the Hood and in the building

You decide what you give

That is the idea behind CooSkills: nobody has to be good at everything. You pick skills, times, and whether you are visible in the building or the whole Hood. Others see: ready to help — and ask in chat.

  • Choose yourself

Small repairs, IT help, dog walking, watering plants: you decide what you offer.

  • Set your times

Say when you are available. The rest of the Hood sees it — without a phone number.

  • Contribute locally

An hour next door counts more than a profile on the internet. Help stays in the Hood.

What a contribution can look like

These are examples. Your list is yours — short or long, as you like.

  • Small repairs
  • Dog walking
  • Help for seniors
  • Watering plants
  • IT help
  • Grocery shopping

Visible in three steps

Pick skills, set times, done. You arrange the rest in chat.

  1. 1

    Choose what you can do

One skill or several. You can change or drop them at any time.

  2. 2

    Say when you have time

Days and hours. Your Hood sees: ready to help.

  3. 3

    A neighbour asks in chat

Your number stays private. You decide if and when it fits.

The help is there — often nobody knows

People on the stairwell can drill, shop, or walk a dog. Without CooSkills that stays invisible.

Without CooSkills

Nobody knows who can help. Requests go nowhere, and people with time are never asked.

With CooSkills

Your Hood sees who is ready. You contribute without locking yourself in — and find help without shouting down the stairs.

A Hood that carries each other

CooSkills is the skills corner of your Hood: private, local, and voluntary — for everyday life, not a CV.

  • Offer what you can

A few taps, and neighbours see your skills.

  • Only when you have time

Availability is part of the profile. Not a permanent on-call.

  • Building or Hood

Visible only in the building — or to the whole neighbourhood.

  • Confirmed residential addresses only

Help stays with people who have confirmed they live nearby.

Tell the Hood what you can do
